Grace Okereke is a dynamic and forward thinking Creative Arts Manager with several years of experience. She has had professional involvement in a diverse and exciting range of projects, festivals and seasons. Working both in an employed and freelance capacity her portfolio of projects and events include: Artists – support companies in the management, coordination and development of specific projects or touring works. Audiences – manage professional, emerging and youth performance platforms and events. Adults and Older People – support regular activity for adults and older people, that promotes physical and mental well-being. Community Engagement – Coordinate one-off workshops or events that engage local members of the community. Children and Young People Formal and Informal – Work with groups from the ages of 0-18 years both within a formal education (schools) and informal education setting, on regular activities, progressive projects and performance platforms.
Grace aims to use the arts as a way of engaging, educating and rejuvenating communities, culturally enriching peoples lives, which she believe is a fundamental right for all, no matter economic status or circumstance.
