Rachel began dancing at the young age of four when she became a member of Attitude Dancers Academy here she trained in Ballet, Jazz, and Tap whilst also completing several ISTD exams in Ballet and Tap Rachel stayed with the company for thirteen years. Rachel has been performing in Showcases and Musical ever since and loves nothing more than to be on stage! At the age of twelve Rachel began training in Street and Commercial dance, she also joined Stagecoach where she trained in Musical Theatre for three years and gained experience in Singing and Acting.
At the age of sixteen Rachel studied a BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts: Dance and received a Triple Distinction. Whilst at college Rachel gained a real love and passion for choreographing and directing and knew this was something she wanted to explore further. In 2008 Rachel moved to London to begin studying a BA (Hons) Degree in Urban Dance at the University of East London. Whilst in London Rachel also began training in many other dance styles including Waacking, African Contemporary, House and various other Urban styles of dance. In 2011 Rachel became a member of The Twisted Elegance who work and perform alongside House of Khan as the Supercreatives. Rachel admires the creativity and artistic vision of Vicki Igbokwe and loves the work that Uchenna Dance Company produce. Rachel carried out her work placement with Uchenna Dance. From a successful placement she was offered a role within the organisation.
