Uchenna Dance deliver dynamic high quality dance experiences for all and are committed to developing education work from Key Stage 1 through to a professional level. The education team is made up of company members, who have a wealth of experience in the education sector as well as professional performance experience, creating a well rounded and dynamic delivery team.
We deliver classes, workshops, residences and after school clubs, anything from two hours to a full week or longer can be designed to suit. Sessions can be one-off, possibly to introduce dance into the school/college curriculum, or ongoing and intensive for dance or performing arts students. We have the ability to adapt our style to work with the needs of the specific institution/organisation, working in partnership to create bespoke packages that can link to the curriculum. This is done in consultation with the teachers/organisers to best meet your student’s needs.
Uchenna Dance bring a fresh and dynamic approach to dance education, we can cater to your students’ wants whilst delivering what teachers need!
The company provide classes and workshops in the following distinct styles:
● Contemporary Dance
● Urban Contemporary Dance
● African Dance
● House Dance
● Waacking
We recommend classes should be two hours and workshops three hours or more, though welcome working with you to customise packages that take into account your specific needs and budget.
With our diverse teaching team, we can also accommodate other styles of dance specified at the time of booking.
